The available Wifi On The Go features turns your truck into a 4G wifi hotspot with wheels that's able to connect to eight devices at once and provide coverage for up to 50 feet away. The intuitive Uconnect 4 touch screen allows you to control almost every aspect of your cabin and entertainment with the brush of your fingertips. And if you'd rather keep your hands on the wheel, you can simply use our voice. With the Uconnect 4 app on your smartphone, you can track your truck in busy parking lots, gain detailed vehicle health reports, turn the engine and lights on and off remotely, and more. Solid Steel Chasis and Safety Features Security is also top-of-the-range with the Gladiator's suite of standard safety features and a potential 80 total available safety features. The Parksense Rear Park Assist System and Parkview Rear Backup Camera make parking in even the tightest of spots a breeze. Blind Spot Monitoring, Forward Collision Warning With Active Braking, Rear Cross Path Detection, and Active Cruise Control all help to mitigate common road risks. Signs You Need a Radiator Repair at Your Chrysler Dealer

A good, working radiator is essential for keeping your Chrysler's engine cool. The radiator and the rest of the cooling system operate under high pressure and at high temperatures for long periods. This can lead to wear or damage over time, and you'll need to visit your Chrysler dealer for radiator repair. These are some signs that your radiator is in trouble. Broken Radiator Fan The radiator functions as a heat exchanger. Inside it, hot air from the engine is exchanged for cooler outside air. This process occurs in the radiator tubes, where cool air blows in through the radiator grille. The flow of air over the tubes cools the liquid inside them. This process is very effective but only works when your car is moving. If your engine gets too hot while you're idling, a fan at the back of the radiator will switch on. This fan blows across the back of the tubes and cools the hot coolant. If this fan is damaged, it won't switch on, and your engine will overheat. You'll notice a failed radiator fan if your engine temperature only starts to spike when you idle. We'll test the fan and repair or replace it depending on the damage, Failed Radiator Cap The radiator cap controls the pressure in the cooling system. This cap is securely attached to the top of your radiator and protected by two seals. These seals ensure an airtight fit and prevent coolant leaks. If the pressure inside the cooling system gets too high, the cap will open to bleed off the excess pressure and then close again. The cap is unlikely to fail, but its seals gradually shrink or crack due to the heat. Any damage to a seal will result in a coolant loss due to the pressure in the system. The coolant will evaporate almost instantly in the engine's heat, but it leaves tell-tale white lines behind on the metal. We'll examine the cap and seals, and we can replace the seals to prevent further leaks. Broken Water Pump The flow of coolant is essential for your cooling system to operate effectively. This fluid must also move at high speed to maintain engine temperature ta a safe level. The movement of the coolant through your engine is dependent on the water pump. This pump activates as soon as coolant is released by the thermostat. A pump failure is a major problem for the cooling system, as the coolant can't move without it. A failed pump will cause a steady rise in temperature as your engine starts to overheat. When we replace the pump, the coolant will flow normally again. If your engine temperature is too high and rising, call us ASAP at Bob Caldwell CDJR.

3 Signs You Need a Transmission Repair at Your Chrysler Dealer

The transmission transforms the power of your engine into a controlled form to move your Chevy. It does this by utilizing a complex series of gears that enable your car to move at the desired speed. A transmission contains numerous components, and over time some of them will wear out. When you need a transmission repair, your Chrysler dealer can help you. These are some signs that your transmission could be damaged. Your Transmission Is Slipping When your transmission computer shifts gear, it stays in that gear until the computer shifts them again. These shifts are based on the speed you set when you step on the gas pedal. A slip in the transmission occurs when the gears shift without intervention from the computer. The transmission will usually shift down into the previous gear, and this happens without warning. A transmission slip can happen regardless of speed, and it can result in damage to the gears and gear teeth. The slip is dangerous as it can result in your transmission shifting into neutral and stopping. There are several possible causes for this, including worn gear teeth, a fault in the transmission computer, or a lack of transmission fluid. Our technicians will examine your transmission and repair the cause of the problem. Buzzing and Whining Weird noises from the transmission are a sure sign of trouble. Your Chevy transmission moves smoothly and silently from gear to gear. This problem usually starts with a slight buzzing sound. As time passes, this buzzing sound will become louder and can change into a high-pitched whining sound. You'll also notice that the transmission becomes rougher in shifting gears. These sounds could be made by damage or a fault in the torque converter. The converter is the part of your transmission that connects to the engine. It multiplies the torque produced by the engine and converts it into energy to shift the gears. We'll investigate to determine the exact problem. Burnt Transmission Fluid Transmission fluid is the lifeblood of your transmission. This fluid is pumped through the transmission and helps to lubricate and protect the transmission components from damage. Many of these components depend on friction to operate, and the fluid protects them with a friction-resistant barrier. It also provides the essential hydraulic power that allows the gears to move. If your transmission fluid isn't replaced when it's due, it can overheat and burn.  Burning transition fluid smell similar to burning rubber. The burnt fluid can clog your transmission, create additional damage, and prevent your gears from shifting. We can flush the transmission to fix this problem. If your transmission is in trouble, call us ASAP at Bob Caldwell CDJR.
