The 2026 Dodge Charger Daytona uses ultrasonic side sensors to determine how close its sides are to an object. If a real risk of collision is sensed, visual and audible warnings are issued to alert the driver.

Way beyond cruise control, this system lets the vehicle take partial control of acceleration and braking and can adjust lane positioning when the driver allows. A sensor in the steering wheel reminds the driver to keep their hands on the wheel while using the feature.

Using a forward-facing camera and radar sensor input, this available system helps to detect vehicles or pedestrians. If driver input is not detected, the feature issues visual and audible notifications, and can even engage the emergency brakes if needed.

When another vehicle is detected in a blind spot, this system issues a visual warning via the triangle icon on the exterior mirror and makes an audible chime if the turn signal is activated. Rear Cross Path Detection can also detect objects behind the vehicle and issue an alert when the vehicle is backing up.
