Trim Levels (Exterior)
The 2023 Wagoneer is boxy yet sleek. It comes with Jeep's seven-slot grille and WAGONEER lettering above it. Four trim levels are available: Wagoneer, Series II, Carbide, and Series III. Standard features include 18-inch aluminum wheels, cornering LED fog lights, automatic LED headlights, a hands-free power liftgate, a rear windshield wiper, acoustic tinted glass, a roof rack, side steps, and active grille shutters. This SUV has a full-sized spare tire, all-season tires, puddle lights for the rear liftgate, and auto-dimming, heated, manually folding side mirrors with memory settings and turn signals as well.
You can choose a three-pane panoramic sunroof, power running boards, rain-sensing windshield wipers, a removable rear tow hook, and 20- or 22-inch wheels. Available colors include Baltic-Gray Metallic, Bright White, River Rock, Diamond Black Crystal, Velvet Red, and Silver-Zynith.
Engine (Power)
The 5.7-liter V-8 motor produces 392 horsepower and 404 pound-feet of torque. All-wheel drive is optional, and you can choose a Hurricane Twin Turbo six-cylinder engine. It generates 420 horsepower and 470 pound-feet of torque. Both options have an eight-speed automatic transmission.
Performance
The 2023 Wagoneer can tow up to 10,000 pounds and carry up to 1,500 pounds. It comes with a tow/haul driving mode, responsive power steering, excellent acceleration, a smooth ride, and active noise control. A heavy-duty engine cooling system is optional as well.
The fuel tank holds 26.5 gallons, so you can drive a long way between stops at the gas pump. A Quadra-Lift air suspension system with up to 10 inches of ground clearance is available. This SUV gets 16 mpg in urban areas and 22 mpg on the highway. With all-wheel drive, it can go 15 mpg in traffic and 20 mpg on the open road.
Interior
The three-row Wagoneer can carry up to eight people. It comes with 12-way power-adjustable seats with four-way lumbar support, power-adjustable pedals, leather-trimmed seats, ambient lighting, and a heated steering wheel with sound controls. You'll also get voice recognition, dual-zone climate control, a 120-volt power outlet, folding rear seats, three 12-volt outlets, a 10.1-inch touchscreen, and heated and cooled front seats.
Other standard features include navigation, Android Auto, SiriusXM satellite radio, a Wi-Fi hotspot, and Apple CarPlay. You can add a head-up display, adaptive cruise control, heated second-row seats, power-folding rear seats, and a pair of 10.1-inch rear entertainment screens. Ambient LED interior lights, memory settings for the steering wheel, and a 10-speaker Alpine audio system are also available.
Safety Features
The 2023 Jeep Wagoneer has advanced safety features. You'll get lane-keeping assistance, rear cross-traffic alert, forward and rear collision mitigation, hill start assistance, blind spot monitoring, and lane departure warning. Other standard features include a rearview camera with parking assistance. You can select parallel parking assistance, traffic sign recognition, driver attention monitoring, and trailer brake control. A 360-degree camera system is optional as well.
